Net Metering in Lahore: How It Works
Net metering lets you send surplus electricity from your solar system to the grid and get credit for it on your bill. Your normal meter is replaced with a bi-directional (green) meter that records units imported from and exported to the grid. Net metering is regulated by NEPRA and processed by your distribution company (DISCO); in Lahore that is LESCO.
Policy terms, such as how exported units are credited, have been revised in recent years. We confirm the rules in force at the time you apply and explain what they mean for your savings before you invest.
